We've all heard of all the crazy things they've built and are still building in Dubai such as the world's tallest hotel and the tallest building and man made palm shaped islands. However, is there a nightlife in the city of Dubai too or will you just have to have fun in the daytime? After all, Dubai is in a Muslim country which are known to be somewhat restrictive, especially according to a lot of western standards.

Dubai at night is a whole new city. When the city lights up at night, its almost unrecognizable from what it was in the daytime. Regrettably, there are no after hours drinking venues but that just works out fine most times. Cover charge or entry is usually around $30 dollars give and take but well worth the experience. You've probably heard this in your own country but drinking and driving is not a good idea and actually the 'kiss of death' in Dubai. No you won't get the death penalty, but you will be fined about $15,000, one month in jail than straight deportation. Yes that is harsh indeed so try to avoid drinking and driving or drinking outside the designated areas at all costs.

Besides the minor inconveniences, Dubai is a great place at night and its fused with the latest and hottest live acts. If you like to have a good time in a safe and clean environment where everything is big and luxurious, Dubai is the place to party.
