Chances are, there are a lot more people interested in seeing this movie. With things like bloodshed, dark comedy, cheerleaders, horror, and of course, a rock band, this movie seems to have it all. The movie, Jennifer's Body, was produced by Jason Reitman and Dan Dubiecki. Diablo Cody wrote the screenplay. It is directed by Karyn Kusama, of "Girlfight" fame. A 1994 song, with the same title, was done by a band called Hole, which is somewhat gruesome in itself. The plot revolves around a geeky girl in high school named Anita (Amanda Seyfried). Her best friend is the exceptionally beautiful Jennifer (Megan Fox).

At the beginning of the film, Jennifer is your typical cheerleader, popular with both the boys and girls at the high school, for obvious reasons. As the film progresses, a Satanic ritual is enacted by the character Nikolai (Adam Brody) and his rock band, wherein a sacrifice needs to be made in trade for a recording contract. Something goes horribly wrong and Jennifer is possessed by a demon who sends her off on a killing rampage to devour the souls of her male school pals. The M.O. is as a succubus - calling the various boys in close, then proceeding to consume them sexually at first, then physically until they are dead.

Anita decides to take the responsibility to stop Jennifer's horrific killing spree that is focused on all the male students at the school.

Simmons as Mr. Wroblewski, and Aman Johal as Ahmet. Cynthia Stevenson (Mrs. Dove),Carrie Genzel (Mrs. Check), Juan Reidinger (Dirk), Chris Pratt (Officer Roman Duda), Juno Ruddell (Officer Warzak), Keegan Sigurnjak (Meek School Nerd), and Aman Johal as Ahmet from India for this comic romp through the complexities of Satan and high school.

The film was suppose to begin shooting in 2007, but like many other productions, it was put on hold until March, 2008, due to the Writers Guild of America's strike. Jennifer's Body was filmed in Burnaby, in British Columbia. There are a number of scenes that were filmed near Cariboo Hill Secondary School, at Robert Burnaby Park. Certain scenes were also shot at other local Vancouver schools. Music by such artists as Dashboard Confessional, Panic at the Disco, Hayley Williams, Cobra Starship, and All Time Low can be heard on the soundtrack.
